World Team Missions

We had the wonderful privileged of spending time with Jay and Beth Weaver, missionaries with World Team Missions. We spent the day listening and talking about where they have been and what they have seen or done. This wonderful couple lived for many years in Hungry and also served in Haiti.  There faith is steadfast and they live to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I had the opportunity to cook dinner with Beth and learn neat ways to prepare gluten free and dairy free foods. The light of the Lord shines brightly from this God fearing women. We are excited to meet them in their home in Lancaster, PA this June!

From Dave: While we were visiting, I took the liberty to pick Jay's brain about his knowledge of church planting and discipleship. It was wonderful to hear the heart of a man with tremendous experience and wisdom in the area of discipleship. What a great gift God has given us in the mature Christians of the Church. I was refreshed and challenged as we discussed church planting as a healthy model for the entire body of Christ that challenges individuals and requires the constant growth and maturity of those involved. What a blessing it is to spend some time freely talking about the things of God and his Church.
