come what MAY!!

This month has been crazy busy and amazing all at the same time!!
#1 The count down to Mooses Tooth Alaska began.
#2 We celebrated TWO birthdays!! My wonderful hubby is 29 now and Josiah is 4!!
#3 WE MOVED! I found a house with a large fenced in back yard and it happens to be owned by friends of ours. Caleb loves to be outside but we lived on a busy road and I was always scared he would slip out of sight too quick. This move was so important that the kids and I, along with some sweet friends did ALL of the moving!! Dave helped out for 3 hours on a Saturday along with other men from our church to get all of the furniture over to the new house. I was so appreciative to everyone who reached out to help!
#4 DAVE finished his first year of school!! I really REALLY want to brag on my hubby!! HE DID WONDERFUL and the one test he was SOOOO worried about he passed with 100%, Really?? He also got honors in 6 of his classes!!! This coming from a man who has continued to be an incredible father and husband. He has been diligent in lovingly shepherding his boys and continued to spend one-on-one time with them almost weekly. He continued to "date" me, making up special evenings for us once a week to every other week. The last week was, by far, the hardest week of the entire year, but I was completely prepared for that! The kids and I kept busy with friends and unpacking our new home.
#5 We leave for Alaska in 3 DAYS!!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!

Caleb found a spoon outside and thought he would help himself to some dirt! I could not get his mouth open for a better picture of what was inside!
Hair cut!!

We celebrated the schools end with a trip to Boulder Caves with members of our church, here in Yakima. It was a wonderfully cool day and we had a blast spelunking around in the dark caves.

Here is to our first year of MED SCHOOL DONE!!! Only 3 more to go!

First Piano Recital

My sweet boys participated in their FIRST Piano Recital!!
I was so excited! They have only been in piano since February. But Josiah was able to plunk out Hot Cross Buns and Benn played The Farmer in the Dell.
They sung a fun little song before they played called "A Cheerful Little Note"

The classic "HI MOM!"

Josiah was up first! SO CUTE
 My handsome Benn was second!
The Boys and their wonderful teacher Mrs. Renee! We love her and can not wait to start up again!

Guess who turned 4!!

My little Josiah is 4 now!!
Birthday breakfast!
For dinner we went to Red Robin and enjoyed the staff singing happy birthday to Josiah.
He then enjoyed his Ice Cream Sundae!

We had a birthday party for our sweet boy the day after and he enjoyed running and jumping in his new backyard with all his friends! He requested a Fin McMissle cake for his birthday and I attempted.

He also learned to ride his bike with out training wheels on his birthday!! Just the other day he started to go off jumps like his daddy. He is a little wobbly but he LOVES it!!! Look out world!!
Dear Josiah, You are an adventurous little boy with happy a heart that shows from the big smile on your face. You are a persistent little go getter that does not like to stop when on a mission. Your determination is going to carry you far if you allow Jesus to hold your hand a long the way. My prayer for you is to give Jesus your heart and to follow him with the same persistence and determination I see in you every day. As you grow physically I pray that you grow spiritually as well learning to Love Jesus Christ and trust him with all of your heart, soul and mind. I am excited to watch you grow, I am excited to help you learn, I am just excited to be your mommy and I thank God everyday that he gave you to me. He never fails to teach me something new through you.
I love you little monkey!
Love,
Your mommy

A new puppy

Let me tell you a sweet and sad story.
We went on a road trip to the Tri Cities very recently and had a wonderful time. Before heading home we wanted the kiddos to run around at the park. Well, we found a sweet, hungry, cuddle, little puppy. I would not let the kids touch him but after checking him over he was fine just very hungry. For 2 hours I search for his owner, going up to every person I saw in that park and even asking the owners of the ice cream stand. Nobody claimed this little puppy.

We took him home.

We named him Danny.
After two nights, I decided that he needed a new home. He was snappy with the kids (I assume he has chiwawa in him) and he woke me up every 4 hours to pee. No thank you!
We did find him a great home and he is MUCH happier with no kids around.
He was taken to the vet and he is a healthy growing 3 month old puppy!!

Learning to Rapel!

How do you teach your son to rapel??
On your swing set of course!

Look out!! Now he is asking to go and do it on the big rocks!
I look forward to it kid!
