Missoula to Yellowstone National Park

We left Missoula with intentions to drive to Yellowstone and camp. With it being the off season everything was free. We thought it would be a good idea. Until we got there! It was cold out there. I was reading facebook posts about how warm it was in Alaska and here we were in Wyoming and it was COLD! Oh well, we drove through, enjoyed the sites and then headed for Idaho Falls.

Buffalo

We got to see wonderful sites that pictures do not do justice. It was cold and windy but well worth it.

Elk
Fun tidbit: Before we entered the park we stopped by McDonald's to grab a bite. Josiah was so excited to play in the play land, but they did not have one. He was so confused and even after we tried to explain to him there was not a play land, he had to walk up to the lady working behind the counter to ask her where the play land was.

Cool Wheels

The Boys had a wonderful time looking at all of the animals, there were more buffalo then anything, but they enjoyed the fact that most of the animals were right on the road! Even the brown bear enjoyed his dinner less than a 100 feet from the road!!

Yellowstone was nice, but because it is a tourist town, everything was expensive, just like Alaska. Should be use to it right?? :)
