Hanging with friend in Spokane!

8 kids+3 adults and one 15 passenger van=Tons of fun!
We were so excited to pack up and leave Yakima for the rest of our road trip. Our first stop was to see our dear friends, the Philips, who moved from Anchorage, Alaska to Spokane, Washington in October.
The loading and unloading took some time.

Swings are by far the favorite

We, Charissa, Dave and I loaded 8 kiddos, Bennjamin, Benjamin, Joey, Josiah, Seona, David, Caleb and Danielle up in the Philips 15 passenger van and headed down town to see the sites!

We first went to a park to wait for Bryan to get off work so he could join us on our fun adventure.

Charissa, Caleb and me

It was nice to get to see Charissa after what felt like ages. Soon we will be living close again. 3 hours, but closer then Alaska.
Benn, Joey and Ben, 3 little monkeys

Spokane falls! A powerful force
First stop was the Spokane Falls. These powerful waters were so forceful it shook the bridge.

We were able to ride on a historical carousel during our stroll downtown. The kids thought it was wonderful and asked to do it again.

This goat is a large vacuum, the kids enjoyed feeding it trash

Giant wagon

and slide

This goat was super cool. At the push of  button it became a vacuum and sucked up trash. This is a fun way to keep trash off the ground, the kids were scrounging for trash in and around the goats area.

This wagon was so cool!! I was totally in love with it! The kids played for a long time, running up and sliding down over and over and over.

6 of the 8 sweet blessings

We had a wonderful time with the Philips, even after a few days I think we could have stayed longer.

Thank you Charissa and Bryan for opening your home to us. You have all been a wonderful blessing to our family. Thank you!
