Week 13 in the bag!

OOPS!  It is Friday and I just realized I forgot to post this!!!!
A little late, but here you go.
This week was a pretty big week for all of us. It was the end of another test block and Dave took the whole weekend off!!
However, leading up to the weekend there was a lot of studying Dave had to accomplish which meant a couple late nights at school.
The boys and I make the best of these long days with special things and on one particular day we made cookies!!!!!
The coolest thing about homeschooling is how almost everything we do can be brought back to our "classroom" time. So making these cookies was our science for the day and we did a lot of observing, hypothesizing, touching and feeling.

using team work to clean up
Since we were decorating Halloween cookies, we need a costume. . . . .
These boys have great senses of humor! They laugh at each others jokes until there are tears. They are a lot of fun.

Eating our science experiment was the best part!

While we made cookies, Caleb slept most of the day. Poor little guy was not feeling well. This is how he hung out when not in bed, in his PJs, in his chair with a blanket. I was so happy he smiled for this picture. Even sick he is a happy boy.
Dave is doing good and is still enjoying the challenges set before him. His third test block ended well and he is ready to press forward with this next test cycle. This month he will be focusing on the tummy!! That will be fun to dissect on his cadaver. Yuck!!

 The fall colors are BEAUTIFUL!!

We captured this colorful pictures while we were out on a bike ride the other day.
