Week 17 was the BEST week out of all the weeks since it was only 2 days!!! Dave took he tests and was home by noon on Tuesday!! Yeah for short weeks!!
We started off the vacation with raking leaves. We have 2 HUGE sycamore trees out front and they shed a massive amount of leaves. We had more fun playing in them and did not get very many picked up.
It makes me laugh. Last week we were outside in our snow gear sledding and this week we are out in long sleeve shirts raking. WOW! Yakima is different.
Where are the boys??? Take a guess! :) |
We had a wonderful low key Thanksgiving dinner here at the house. We stayed in our pjs and watch the Macy's day parade, a football game and a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Yes! It was a lovely day!
Smoke Salmon spread! A staple for the holidays |
Cherry, Pumpkin and Apple. |
What is Thanksgiving without the TURKEY! |
Each day (We missed a few) we wrote one thing we were thankful for and added it to our fire place. It was fun to hear and see what the boys were thankful for. I enjoy their sweet and innocent answers. A couple were: Mom, Dad, Brother, food, house, snow, our dog and toys. There were others but those were the ones that stood out to me.
Look at that face. . . I can not believe he will be ONE next week!!! WOW the time has flown by.
So as we enter into December, we are excited because Dave will get a two week vacation!! At the same time though he will be entering finals and need more study time. The kids and I have many things we will be working on to make this time go by faster. Baking, crafting and so much more!! :)
