Time with Grandma B

After our time in Cleveland it was time to head for Hatboro, PA to see Dave's Grandma Breckenridge. (Ann's mom) This time Ann was on the road with us. She rode with us to Hatboro and her sole purpose at her moms house was to do some projects to get it ready to sell. One of which was tearing down wall paper. The boys were overly eager to help out and the next morning, after our arrival, got busy tearing down wall paper in the living room.

Grandma B lives in a cool house full of antiques, bits-n-bobs and toys that would have been old when I was a baby. The boys thought they were great and spent divided time tearing down wall paper and playing with cool toys.

Dave also has an Uncle and Aunt that lives near by in New Tripoli, PA and their two sons Josh and Leigham were playing a soccer game in Allentown, PA. Since Allentown is were Dave grew up we were excited to see family, watch his cousins play soccer and visit Dave's old stomping grounds.

Dave showed the boys where he learned how to Mountain Bike, the 7-11 were we bought goodies, his neighbors, where he use to swim on hot days and the parking lot near his house where he would spend hours riding bikes and cruising on his roller blades.

Mason Hill park in Hatboro was awesome! Mainly, because it had a water fountain and on this 98 degree day we all enjoyed it.

For lunch we had authentic Philadelphia Pretzels from Philly's own Soft Pretzal Bakery they were yummy yummy! I am not sure why I did not get a picture! They were so good I ate them up faster then I could click a picture! :)
Fun fact: Do you know that people on the East Coast eat their pretzels with mustard??? How do you eat your pretzel?

Grandma B loves her great-grandsons but I think she secretly wants a  great-granddaughter someday. :)

Right before we left Cleveland we decided that Sammy should ride home with Alan. The whole trip from Alaska has been a little rough. We found that all of State Parks, some campgrounds and most hotels do not allow dogs. The only issue was that is got to hot to leave her in the car. Since we were taking Ann with us, Alan took Sammy. We will meet them in South Dakota to get her back later in our trip.
